In 2003 and 2004 I went along on a camping and mountain biking trip to Jim Thorpe PA.  More experienced riders may find this area becoming mundane, but for me it was a chance to experience a larger, more backwoods riding area with a wide variety of conditions.  In 2003 we stayed at the Mauch Chunk campground, but in 2004 we moved to the Jim Thorpe campground, which had more cabins (it was COLD up there in 2003!).

Pictures from both years are below.

The best shot is this one - we found the trail ending with this shear cliff, which we had to cross by carrying our bikes and edging along a ledge with our cleated shoes.
