Fair Hill is located just inside of Maryland nor far from Newark DE. It's a great relatively-flat areas of woods, fields, nice singletrack, a natural maze, and a great trail system. We generally park in a small parking area off of route 273, but there are other parking areas that connect to the trail system. Here's a Google Earth shot of the Fair Hill complex. Note the parking area. Here is the link for the Google Earth shot if you have it installed on your computer. Here's a topographic map of the ride from 11/5/05. We started from the parking lot on 273, but I ended up at the lot on Appleton Road with a munged bottom bracket and had to be picked up there. 2006Here's the track of a ride on 4/16/06. This track comes from SportTracks, which downloads data from my Garmin Forerunner 301 CPS/Heart Rate Monitor and transforms it into maps, speed and elevation graphs and heart rate charts. Here's the map in relation to the local roads: Here are the elevation and heart rate graphs from that ride 2005Here's the track of the ride as shown on Google Earth. You'll see it as a thin blue line on the map - a little hard to see. This link may give you the track on your Google Earth map. Here are some pictures from the 11/5/05 ride. This is Lisa, Kevin, Erin, Jon, Ben Greg, Jess and Joe in the parking lot near the covered bridge. Here's the group heading across one of the many fields and into the woods. Here are some shots from the woods, including Jess fixing the chain on his bike
